The concept of “Asian” is still vaguely morphed instead of recognizing the great diversity within Asia or even within the three “well-known” East Asian (Korea, China, Japan) countries. Because of their distinctive history, the way they designed their chopsticks was also different. They differ in shape, length, material, and usage to fit right into their cultures. SESE is created to highlight the East Asian cultural diversity by using something that’s often viewed as merely an Asian utensil. SESE provides two pairs along with a relevant recipe and information to get to know the country’s culture better.
